We had ONE Worship yesterday. Many of us have been looking forward to the ONE worship -- Midori said she's been longing for a wide open space where she can dance freely, others have missed the experience of worshiping with the entire community, with drums and electric guitars and all the instruments.
It was an awesome experience, seeing the folks that we haven't seen for a long time, hugging them, praying with them, and sharing with each other what has been going on in each others' lives. The worship and intercession were powerful, and we could sense the power that is present when the people of God gather together to worship Him. What a wonderful time it was. Wow.
I could see the people at Blessed La Palma scattered throughout the room, serving at different locations. It reminded me of the Jesus' saying that we're to be like salt in the world -- when we scatter and serve others with what God has given to us, we'll be having powerful effect on the overall community.
What a change that God has brought on all of us in just a span of a month. God is growing us and nurturing us together. All of us are standing stronger, more ready to serve, more willing to serve out of the abundance of love and blessings that God has given to us.
I'm looking forward to what God will do through us next month at La Palma. More of God's blessings, I'm sure! Lord, continue to be glorified through your people at La Palma.
